Strawberry fields…..

Yesterday, S and I did something new - we went fruit & vegetable picking! This may not sound like much but it was a great day out - the weather was just right and the fruit is the best we’ve had in a long time. Beats the supermarket quality hands-down.
To start at the beginning, we were celebrating our friends’ 3rd wedding anniversary. Parag & Pooja, never ones to do the ordinary, invited us and some other friends for a day out to a pick-your-own farm followed by a picnic.

So off we went to the Copas Farm in Iver, Buckinghamshire. It was a cool morning, just right for physical labour (!) outdoors. Getting there for just before noon, we picked strawberries, red currants, cherries, spring-onions, broad-beans….

S & I have already tried the strawberries out in our juicer - wow is the only word that comes to mind!
