Web Wednesdays

Last night I had the opportunity to attend a web-marketing networking evening in London.Called Web Wednesdays, it’s held on the second Wednesday of the month. It was a brilliant evening, especially since Web Wednesdays celebrated its first birthday and there was some great chocolate cake for everyone! :)

It was especially worthwhile since I met people who I can synergise with on a couple of projects I’m working on at the moment and am at a stage where I know I need some outside help. Well, I found it!

Check out the Web Wednesdays site at http://www.webwednesdays.com/

What a shame since OSS has the right spirit driving it - not money but that of making quality software available for all, something MS has yet to learn what with all the bugs that every version of it’s software ships with.

This documentary raises a number of questions most of which have yet to be answered. Why is this important? The world changed drastically following that day and 2 wars waged on the back of it - we’re all affected and we should know why our lives are so different now than before 9/11.
